Alex Ferguson - Founder, Principal and Licensee
Commencing work in 1960 in the Banking Industry I trained in a number of positions in general banking covering saving, trading and relieving staff. A change of employment led to a large wholesaling company specialising in the supply and distribution of food and hardware items to retail outlets. From this led to positions in marketing with International Food Manufacturing and distribution companies and eventually becoming the National Marketing Manager.
A career change in 1979 saw us enter the Hotel Industry managing and running our own business. We also formed a Building Company in 1983, operating both businesses. The natural progression from there was to enter the Real Estate market.
Further enterprises have led to land and accommodation development and also the Childcare Industry. These business are still operating successfully today.
Ascot Sales Team
Having commenced my Real Estate career in 1992 in Bargara, I have seen many changes in the industry. I have always been involved with property and the development sector having been in surveying here in Bundaberg prior to Real Estate.
This continued involvement with property has given me extensive experience in all aspects of Real Estate, from development to marketing. I enjoy helping both buyers and sellers in all their real estate needs and I look forward to being of service to you in the future.
I have recently joined the Ascot Sales team, I moved to beautiful Elliott Heads 5 years ago and am excited to start my Real Estate career with Ascot.
I come with over 20 years experience in the retail industry much of this time spent in Sales. I have been in multiple management roles as well as owning my own business.
I am a supporter of the Black Dog Institute for mental awareness in men’s health and am also involved with the local surf life saving club.
I joined the Ascot team in early 2017 as Sales Administration bringing numerous years of office and customer service experience with me. For the last 2 years I have been studying the ins and outs of real estate and due to my commitment, I have recently branched out as a property consultant utilising my skills & knowledge in sales and property management. I have lived in the Bundaberg Region for 24 years and have always had a passion for real estate. I look forward to providing a stress-free process while achieving the best possible results for my clients.
Additionally, I fill the role of Sales Administration assisting our other sales professionals with advertising & contract requirements, as well as assisting the rental department.
Ascot Property Management Team
Kate has been a property manager with Ascot Real Estate since 2001 and has seen substantial changes in the way the industry has developed.
In this time Kate has built solid relationships with her landlords and tenants.
She prides herself on giving all her clients the best possible service, understanding the need to give the investor the best possible return on their investment.
Robyn joined Ascot Real Estate, in January 2015. She had previously worked in the real estate industry for over 4 years acquiring a wealth of experience.
She enjoys working with her landlords and tenants alike, providing a very thorough service.
Sherrie Booth joined the Ascot Rentals team in October 2017. Sherrie has considerable experience in the industry specialising as a leasing consultant processing applications for suitable long term tenants, conducting open house inspections and advising owners on the current conditions and property sustainability of their investment portfolio.
Sherrie comes to us with extensive management PR and marketing experience which are valuable assets in the management of Investor’s property portfolios. Her personable and friendly approach ensures a good business relationship with both owners and tenants. Her attention to detail coupled with effective time management ensures that the Investor’s property receives the maximum return while being well maintained.
Sherrie is excited to join the team at Ascot and looks forward to developing long term business relationships while giving valuable service to all her clients.
Born and raised in Melbourne until 2015 when Eryn moved to Bargara with her husband and kids. Eryn has 2 1/2 years experience in property management in Queensland with prior Victorian sales experience.
Purchasing her first home at the age of 18 she has held interest into the process of buying, selling and renting within the Real Estate Industry.
Lauren joined Ascot Real Estate in 2009 as receptionist/secretary in the sales division. Her various duties included assisting sales professionals, advertising and drawing up contracts. While in this position she completed the property management course and is now fully licensed.
Lauren transferred to the rental department in 2012. Her current position is an administration officer but assists the property managers and looks after their portfolio when they are absent. Additionally she looks after letting and advertising.
